New sketchbook

i bought a sketchbook.. for sketches.
first time in a while, i like it. ink paper, absolutly no bleed. ink looks great on it too. fun :)

long days past, longer days ahead.

only 6 more weeks left in the semester, ruh roh.

Weather Buddy

I need a name for my product, here he is, what do you think?

He is an indoor themometer with a wireless outdoor sensor. He chills on your wall and changes color to the temperature, and his emotion changes to the weather. Any ideas?

I Blame it on the change of seasons, lol.

Some randoms, when im sketching for my projects i often break out into a rad little do-whop and pump out something cool looking like this cool jetbike or the monkey/axe/thing. haha.
Did some sketching with Tony at JP Licks, its a lot harder than i thought it would be to draw people walking. But it is helpful, to look at gestures, and sort of think about what people see, and how to make a person recognizable with the smallest amount of strokes.

figure drawing!?!?!

for the first time in almost 4 years, i got some figure drawing in. THey have open figure drawing sessions in the illustration department every wedensday at 1pm. And i finally have that slot open in my schedule, so i am going to go to as many as possible.

i think they came out pretty darn good for being so rusty aye?

New book.

I've opened a sketchbook, and decided all im going to draw are studies from the figure in it. It will rock. Nya!

Hey guys, i wanted to post some images that i generate while i was in australia. The two car ones are from my RFID toy concept, The Offroad Challenge. The user would set up a track, and try and guide their car from start to finish using RFID chips in each of the checkpoints. That presentation isn't online yet, but once i get some time to polish it I'll throw it up here!

Transformation Sequence Initiated

Looking to try and get some characters done while also working on my senior year as an industrial design student. I'm looking towards using more creativity and imagination with my industrial design degree, perhaps working in the entertainment business. I walked out of District 9 knowing what direction I wanted to go, so, lets get crackin.

I'm going to try and grab an internship this winter. Its got to be in Boston only, unfortunatly, because I have no car. For this to happen i've got to get my portfolio in ship shape, send it out. Sounds easier than it is. It will be done!

Hi.

It's my birthday.
Happy birthday mum.

I finished my reviews on Tuesday. They went well. I like how my projects turned out, I think my sports bag and furniture projects need some more work before I can present them successfully.

I went to Chinatown last weekend for my friend Eddie's birthday, got some dinner then went to karaoke. That was pretty fun. Some funny photos from it.

I have 7 days before i leave for Cairns. Alone. Ive got two trips booked, a two-day tour into the rain forest, I think the group gets to kayak or what ever down a river. Then one full day at one of the reefs, I paid for an intro scuba dive, I'll definitely try and get a camera and take some photos.

Chicken Parm is on the menu tonight, Ive been looking forward to making it for a while. They do not have good parmas here, they are just chicken patties heated up with sauce and cheese. So hopfully the friends will enjoy it.

See you guys in 2.5 weeks :)
